I was born in London in 1971, but grew up in Athens as of 1975. I studied English literature at Cambridge University, but after a lot of searching, found my profession on neutral ground: since 1997 I have been working as an simultaneous interpreter in Brussels - with some breaks. The longest was to live from 2008 to 2013 in Berlin, where I researched and started writing More than Rapture. I was finally able to finish it during the 2020-2023 pandemic.
